Happy March!
Well, here we are… March 3rd. Well, on the border or March 4th. Today was a beautiful March day - 60 degrees. Sunny. Breezy. Freaking fantastic!
I’m absolutely jonesing for new episodes of my TV shows dammit! I will admit that I am head-over-heels for Bones. I ordered the Season 2 DVDs and man, I am almost through the whole thing and I’ve only had it since Friday. LOL I could watch them one after another after another. I watch about 3 in a row before I get up to do other things. ::snort:: But really, no clue what I am going to do when the discs are done.
I’m patiently waiting to get paid this month. LOL I’ve got a ton of things I want to buy. ;) Costco has Vista Home Premium on sale for $85. They also have a bluetooth speaker for the car for the cell that is marked down. AND I need to buy Office 2007. I think I’ll wait til next month on that though. Buying the pup has put a damper on my savings, lol. In a matter of 3 days I spent $500 on her (including her adoption fee). She is a cutie though.
St. Patrick’s Day is coming up and I have a whole day/dinner/dessert planned. :) I’m going to decorate the house in green and make my corned beef and cabbage, colcannon, Irish soda bread and for dessert, mint pie and irish coffee. :) And let’s not forget that I’ll be watching Darby O’Gill and the Little People (god Sean Connery was soooo fine!). We’ll also be watching my new St. Pat’s favorite: The Luck of the Irish.
So, that’s my planning thus far. Hope you’re all having a great March thus far! :0)
1 commentI think I’ve found it!
Well, I think I’ve decided… well, maybe. LOL I’ve got 2 months and 18 days before I can upgrade my phone. Yes, the countdown is on. I’ll be grabbing someone’s computer while I’m at my conference in NY as my upgrade date falls on one of the conference days. And I am soooo getting my phone ASAP. Anyway, this is the newest contender…
The Palm Centro in white (with green accent keys!).

I was really wanting the blackberry pearl or curve, BUT neither take video. This little baby does, PLUS it has:
- a touch screen
- built in MP3 player
- MusicID
- organizational items (yay!)
- qwerty keypad
I am in lurve.
Seriously. This is lurve.
End of the Month
So, we’re coming up to the end of the month. Just 9 more days of February. I can’t say I’m sad to see it go. It’s been a busy, busy month.
I turned 30. Yep. The big 3-0. And look at the purdy flowers a certain chica sent me:

But other than the birthday, things have been low-key on my end. I’ve been running all over with Matt and his school and doctors visits. Not fun.
We are getting a puppy though! Finally convinced the husband that we need one.
So, this Sunday the kiddo and I are going to one of those pet things at PetCo while the husband and my mom go to get the taxes done.
Should be interesting, to say the least. But I have final say of what breed to get. ![]()
February Bones
Happy February. :)
So far, the month has been “eh.” We’re on the 5th day — two days til my 30th bday — and we’ve got a broken computer, craziness @ work, new episodes of TV shows down to zilch and 65 degree weather. What the frak?!?!
In the meanwhile, I am addicted to Bones. I can’t get enough of it! I’m fortunate to be a private beta user on Hulu.com and was able to catch up on all the episodes this season and some from the past two. (Yes, I am bummed that they all aren’t on there yet!) Anyway, it is a great show and I am so in love with David Boreanaz. So much so that I’ve even begun to watch Buffy the Vampire Slayer! And I’m sure I’ll move to Angel after that. LOL I am so a TV junkie.
Tomorrow we head to the neuro and the pulmonary specialist. Should be an interesting day — especially considering it’s suppose to be 65 degrees and RAINY. Bleh. Hopefully we’ll make it back home before the storm arrives that we’re suppose to get. I love a good thunder/lightning storm, but not while I’m out driving.
And on that note — I’m ready to hit the bed. I’ve been super busy and am completely exhausted. Hope everyone is having a fabulously chic February thus far! :)

Ok - so, New Kids on the Block. Reunion tour? Maybe? How awesome would it be? And OMG what if Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch opened for them?! I’d be there like rats to a subway!

And speaking of subways — Cloverfield was AWESOME. I was a little worried at first. Next to the register at the ticket counter was a sign that something along the lines of: “Due to the way the movie was filmed, motion sickness can occur.” Sigh. I often get motion sickness. I know, figures.
But I was fine. There was one point where I started to feel a teeny bit queasy, but I made it through. Great movie. The creature was NOT what I expected. I did want more and there were times where I was getting pissy that I couldn’t see the way I wanted to see. And it completely sucked when a bunch of kids came flying through the aisle and ran right into my legs. Ow! But all and all, I was happy. The Husband was not. He wanted to know more. Couldn’t believe it ended the way it did. Uhm, hello. It was a “camcorder” film found at the site formerly known as Central Park. What did you think was going to happen????
